Day 1: UK to Ypres
Meet at Channel Tunnel Departures car park nice and early and get ready to depart.
Disembarking the train in Calais, we head to our first stop in De Panne for a quick for a 20 mins refreshment stop.
Leaving De Panne, we head to Tyne Cot Cemetery, the largest commonwealth forces cemetery in the world. After some time at Tynecot, we will head to Ypres, riding through the Menin Gate and into town to our hotel.
Once everyone has had time to check-in and spent some time around the town to see what Ypres has to offer, we will meet up for dinner and drinks at one of the many superb restaurants in main square.
-
Day 2: Riding the Salient
After breakfast we will all meet up for a outside for a 1000 departure for a ride to visit many of the sites around the salient, including Langemark, Hill 60, Polygon Wood, Brothers Memorial and Sanctuary Wood.
We aim to be back in Ypres for around 16:00, giving everyone enough time to see some more of Ypres or relax before the evening, were we will go and see the Menin Gate Ceremony at 2000.

Day 3: Returning back to the UK.
After another filling breakfast, we check out of the hotel and return to the road. On our way out of Ypres we will make a stop at Essex Farm Cemetery and the original Advance Dressing Station, as it was here that the poem 'In Flanders Fields' was written. Continuing on, we make a brief stop just outside the town of Poperinge before rolling back into France and back onto the motorway to Calais.
